The HBF Fitness Summer season runs from Monday 15th January 2018 – Saturday 10th March 2018.
On registration you will receive a unique QR code. You have the one QR code that will work for the entire 8-week program. You’ll receive this on the registration confirmation page and in your confirmation email. Remember to bring it along to each and every session so we can confirm your participation.
This QR code will work at every location and session – so you only need to register once if you plan to attend multiple locations.
Simply print out your confirmation email, or bring along your smartphone and present the email with QR code to your trainer for scanning.
NB. You may find it useful to save this email to your phone (to do this on an iPhone, take a screen shot of your email by holding the lock and home buttons at the same time. This will save the image to your photos app).
Summer sessions are held in 21 locations across WA, including regional sessions in Bunbury, Albany and Geraldton. You are free to attend any location, but just remember that you only need to register once each season. You can find out more information about each location on the Locations page.
Yes. You are free to attend any location or program type, but just remember that you only need to register once each season. For example, you may want to attend a local suburban location on the weekends, but also attend a Kings Park session on a weekday. You should register for the location that you will most likely attend. The QR code you receive in your registration email will work at every location. Simply bring that to every session.
Some locations have a limited number of places available due to the size of the venue. This will be monitored and registrations will be closed when the venue is at capacity.
No sessions are held on public holidays, however sessions will continue to be held on the Saturday of a long weekend. For example, if a public holiday falls on a Friday or a Monday, the session scheduled for the Saturday of that long weekend will still proceed.
Our programs are designed to accommodate a variety of fitness levels, including seniors, families and those just starting out – so you don’t have to be an athlete to join in! We do recommend you consult your doctor before starting any exercise program. If you have any medical concerns or previous injuries please inform your trainer at the beginning of each session you attend.
All four program levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Family and HIIT (Family and HIIT at selected locations) are available for the Summer program. You can find more information about each level on the Program page.
For most sessions (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced), you need to have turned 15 years of age. If you’re over 15 but under 18 years of age, you will need your parent or guardian to complete the registration on your behalf.
Our Family sessions (held at selected locations) are a great option for families with children 5 to 14 years.
Our Family sessions are designed for parents to participate with their children. Children are not able to participate without a guardian.
Unfortunately, children cannot participate in Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced classes, and to participate in a Family session children need to be registered and aged between 5-14 years. Only children older than 15 are able to participate in beginner, intermediate and advanced sessions. While we would love to cater for younger children, our program is targeting the general population, so we need to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants. Therefore, the age limit has been assigned to ensure this is achievable.
Unfortunately our fitness sessions are not suitable for pets, so please don’t bring them along.
We’re running regional sessions in Albany, Bunbury and Geraldton. We will continue to work towards bringing HBF Fitness to more locations in the future.
We know things get in the way sometimes, that’s no problem! We’d love to see you as often as you can make it.

Sessions always go ahead in wet weather and high temperatures, unless there are exceptional circumstances. Your trainer will make the call on the day whether or not it is safe to continue the session. In the odd circumstance that we cancel a session prior to it commencing, we will do our best to let participants know.
Registering online before your first session is easy. You’ll just need to complete your personal details and answer a few simple questions about your health and fitness.
When registering, you will also need your HBF member number so you can attend for free!
Non HBF members will need their credit card (Visa or Mastercard) to make a payment through our secure online payment system. You will need to register each person separately through the registration process. Unfortunately we cannot accept registrations at the venues.

Non HBF members will have to pay for the whole eight-week fitness program when registering at a cost of $120 (inc GST).
Your participant fee contributes towards the cost of the trainers and running the sessions.

You can only register one person at a time through the registration process, so each time you register you will need to complete a new medical waiver.
Registrations and passes are not transferable. Please note that any passes you purchase must be used during the allocated season of HBF Fitness, and cannot be carried over to future seasons. No refunds will be given.
Registrations and payments must be made online prior to commencing a session. Unfortunately we cannot accept cash or manual credit card payments on the day, so be sure to complete your online registration before you turn up to a session. Bring along your registration confirmation email – we’ll need to scan in your QR code.

NB. You can use any email or mobile phone number – these are not verified against your member record. However, your Member Number, Last Name and Date of Birth will need to be an exact match.
Each member has a unique member number which can be found on their member card. If you have been using the same number for each of your family members, it will not allow you to continue your registration. You can locate your member number on your individual member card or at myHBF.
If you are covered on your parent’s policy and don’t know your own member number, please tick the box provided on the registration form. Please enter your details to be verified.

Register for Family so we capture the details of your children. That QR code will then work for you in any of the other programs should you choose to attend.
You can register up to three children for each adult participating in the sessions. Children must be 5-14 years old.
Each adult must register for the sessions separately. Each child is only required to be linked to one parent (up to three children per parent).
